We see some really weird things in college football — that applies for all conferences and all teams across the country. But things can get even more strange in the SEC.

One Tennesse fan is taking it to a completely new level.

A recently single Tennessee football fan decided to take out an ad on Craigslist, hoping to find a new companion to accompany him to Volunteers home games this fall. But the message he used was equal parts weird and hilarious.

The companion he’s seeking must be a female — and it sounds like a classy one — who must be willing to pay face value for each and every ticket. Yes, that’s correct, not only does said female companion have to be “respectable,” she has to cough up the cash for the ticket.

Doesn’t seem like the best way to find a partner for Tennessee games. Below is the full posting:

Oh, and did I mention you also have to explain WHY you deserve the ticket?

It sounds like this guy has a pretty specific type of individual in mind. We’ll see if Mrs. Right comes along so this guy can have a companion for those home games. It may be easier to just ask a buddy to attend a few games this season at Neyland Stadium.
