Aaron Scott Jr. is still considering Ohio State and Penn State as narrows down his recruitment.

On Sunday afternoon, Scott announced the Buckeyes and Nittany Lions were amongst the teams who made his final 12. Additionally, Scott is still considering Oregon, Florida State, USC, Michigan, Notre Dame, Kentucky, Pitt, Oklahoma, Louisville and Tennessee.

As an Ohio native, Scott is a major priority for the Buckeyes. He attends Springfield High School in Springfield, Ohio. Scott is listed at 6-foot, 170 pounds.

He would be a major addition for either program in the class of 2024. Scott is currently ranked as the No. 71 overall player and the No. 9 cornerback in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 2 player from the state of Ohio.

Ohio State is already off to a strong start in the class of 2024. Ryan Day’s staff has earned 9 commitments to date. Overall, OSU’s class ranks No. 4 nationally according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

Penn State also has a top-10 class so far. The Nittany Lions have 7 commits and the nation’s No. 10 recruiting class for 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
