Abilene Christian WR celebrates too early, flashes peace sign seconds before being tackled

As if the football world needed a reminder never to celebrate too early, Abilene Christian WR L.J. McConnell provided another lesson for football players everywhere.
On Saturday, ACU faced off against Army. The game has been mostly dominated by Army as the Black Knights rattled off 23 unanswered points to start the game.
ACU found its way into scoring position in the second quarter off of this big run by McConnell, and it looked like McConnell may even score on the long play. He carried a jet sweep around the left side and ran past the entire Army defense down the sideline.
Unfortunately, McConnell was not in the clear as much as he originally anticipated. He put up a peace sign to the defense as he hit the 20-yard line, but he was immediately tackled at the 10.
