Aer Lingus Classic: Irish stars show off kicking talent to promote B1G showdown
Aer Lingus Classic action is right around the corner with Nebraska and Northwestern set to play in Dublin this month. The Week 0 college football contest between the two sides is set for Aug. 27, and promotions for the game are beginning over in Ireland.
Recently, Off The Ball sports put together a kicking contest between a pair of Irish stars in Shane Walsh and Sean O’Shea. That duo is used to playing on the pitch in Gaelic football but took turns taking shots at field goals.
In all honestly, Wash and O’Shea did pretty good for their American football debut. At least, they certainly kicked well enough to perform on Nebraska’s special teams unit from last season.

Our in-depth kicking masterclass will be available soon!
