The New England Patriots are the New England Patriots.
On Sunday, shockingly, they defeated the Washington Redskins — which actually led to Redskins coach Jay Gruden getting fired on Monday. The Patriots won 33-7 and Tom Brady did has job, as he usually does. The Patriots move to 5-0 overall, while the Redskins are now 0-5.
Part of the reason the Redskins are where they are at isn’t just the coaching, though. It’s been the mess at quarterback. Gruden wanted to win now as opposed to draft and develop a young QB. His contract said as much.
Yet, the Redskins drafted Haskins — the former Buckeye — in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Rumors swirled that Gruden wasn’t a fan of this organizational decision.

Haskins hasn’t played much in the team’s first five games, but after the 26-point loss to Brady and the Patriots, the two exchanged words in a friendly manner:
Tom Brady (@TomBrady) to Dwayne Haskins (@dh_simba7) after #NEvsWAS:
Brady, a @UMichFootball product: "Good luck to you…an @OhioStateFB guy. You beat us all the time!"#HTTR #GoPats #GoBucks https://t.co/bcg345H0eS pic.twitter.com/8xCLflzyiD

Again, this was a friendly exchange and Brady recognizes the fact that Ohio State has owned Michigan in recent years. Arguably the greatest QB of all time wished the former scarlet and gray QB luck going forward.
