Alabama DB hilariously calls out Nick Saban for ‘deez’ jokes

You never know what you’re going to hear when you ask a college football player a question.

That was the case when Alabama defensive back Jordan Battle was asked by a reporter about head coach Nick Saban, and whether Saban had any favorite sayings, or “quips” that he uses.

According to the Tide safety, Saban jokes talks about “touch deez” or “suck on deez” all the time.

While Saban likely won’t be overly thrilled that this is being brought up, this isn’t the first time the coach’s crude sense of humor has made it to the media.

Back in 2019, Oakland Raiders running back Josh Jacobs, who was at one time a Crimson Tide standout, was asked about the differences between his current coach (John Gruden) and Saban while he was his coach at Bama. Ironically, Jacobs talked about Saban making the same remarks at practices.

It’s probably safe to say, Battle won’t be at the podium again any time soon.
