Alabama football may traditionally be the talk of Tuscaloosa, but the Crimson Tide basketball team is doing its best to steal some headlines this season.

It has already been a banner year for Alabama with Nick Saban’s team putting in work on the gridiron. The Crimson Tide captured the SEC Championship before rolling all the way to the National Championship behind Heisman winner DeVonta Smith.

Now on the hardwood, Nate Oats’ Crimson Tide basketball team is also dominating SEC competition. Alabama finished the season 16-2 in conference play and won the regular-season SEC title.

On Sunday, Alabama took on LSU in the SEC Tournament title game and was able to hold off the Tigers, 80-79 for the win. That gives the Crimson Tide SEC titles in football to go along with a regular season and SEC Tournament title in basketball:

What is even scarier is Alabama may not be done winning. The Crimson Tide finished the season ranked inside the top 10 on the AP Poll and could be gearing up for a deep run in the NCAA Tournament.
