The Alabama football team had a bit of a scare today when they learned that running back Trey Sanders was involved in a car accident.

He’s in stable condition and sustained some injuries, though none are life-threatening:

His future status is unknown for the next game as Alabama has their bye week this weekend. They travel to Baton Rouge next Saturday to play the LSU Tigers.

So far this season, Sanders has 30 rushes for 134 yards and is averaging 4.5 yards per carry.

He had his best game of the season last week against Mississippi State as he rushed for 80 yards on 12 carries.
