An Alabama receiver is electing to hit the transfer portal. Redshirt junior Xavier Williams, who arrived at Alabama as a four-star prospect in the Class of 2018, is departing the program according to Rivals.

Williams totaled three receptions for 24 yards overall during his time at Alabama. The 6-foot, 180-pound wide receiver hasn’t played this season because of a medical issue.

Williams was evaluated as the No. 32 player from Florida, according to Rivals. Williams also had offers from Arkansas and Auburn amongst others.

Alabama is currently No. 3 in the latest edition of the College Football Playoff rankings. The Crimson Tide boast an 8-1 overall record and are first place in the SEC West. Alabama’s lone loss came at Texas A&M on Oct. 9.
