Amier Ali, 4-star small forward out of Florida, includes 2 B1G programs in top 8

Amier Ali, a 4-star small forward in the Class of 2024, cut his offer list to just 8 Monday afternoon. At least 1 school from each of the Power 5 conferences made the cut for Ali, including 2 out of the B1G.
The B1G programs in question are Ohio State and Michigan. Also under consideration for Ali are Kentucky, Alabama, Arkansas, Texas, Arizona State and Florida State.
Ali, who stands at 6-8, 175-pounds, attended IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida this past season.

According to 247Sports’ composite rankings, Ali is considered to be the No. 28 overall prospect in the Class of 2024, as well as the No. 8 small forward. Ali ranks as the No. 6 player out of the state of Florida.
Ali is expected to take an official visit to Columbus on May 6. 4-star combo guard Juni Mobley out of Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas is Ohio State’s only current commit in the 2024 cycle.
