Andrew Rumph is a 6-foot-3-1/2, 265-pound defensive line standout for Palmetto (Fla.) in the Tampa Bay area. He’ll be headed into his 2nd season with Palmetto, for whom he totaled 4.0 sacks and 16 tackles for a loss in 2021, according to 247Sports.

A pair of B1G programs have had Rumph in their sights: Indiana and Maryland. Maryland offered him in May, and he took an official visit to College Park on June 10. Two weeks later, he was in Bloomington on another official visit.

Now, Rumph is ready to focus on his finalists with his senior season around the corner. He announced on Twitter on Sunday that the Hoosiers and Terrapins were in his top 4, along with Miami and UCF:

The Terps currently have 19 players pledged from the class of 2023, while the Hoosiers currently have 8 commits. Both will be looking to lure Rumph out of state and add to their defensive line ranks for the future.
