Andy Katz has weighed in on the teams still standing in the NCAA Tournament entering the Round of 32.

At this point of March Madness, what teams have done in the regular season is becoming more and more irrelevant. The theme of the day is “survive and advance” for every team looking to take home a national title.

With that in mind, Katz has re-ranked all 32 teams playing on Saturday and Sunday. These are Katz’s personal rankings but likely include multiple factors of how teams looked to begin the tournament and current injury status of key players.

One interesting note is that Penn State — a 10-seed — checks in at No. 5 on Katz’s list. Houston — a No. 1 seed — is at 15 on Katz’s rankings, likely due to some injury concerns for the Cougars.
