Andy Katz releases B1G hoops power rankings following first week of conference play
Andy Katz, a men’s basketball analyst for the Big Ten Network, released his B1G power rankings following the first week of conference play Monday night.
The B1G faces each other to start December before briefly dipping back into a non-conference slate. After the new year, conference play starts back up again.
And there have already been some interesting results in B1G play. For one, Rutgers continued its hot start to the season with an impressive win over Indiana, 63-48. The Scarlet Knights are now 6-2 on the season and rank 6th on Katz’s list.
Here’s where the other 13 B1G hoops teams rank as the season starts to settle in.

Do you agree with his 1-14 after the first weekend of @B1GMBBall play? 👀

Purdue is the obvious No. 1 here. The Boilers are a perfect 8-0 on the season with wins over Gonzaga, West Virginia and Duke, plus another win over a good Marquette team.
Can anyone stop Purdue right now?
