Andy Katz reveals latest B1G hoops power rankings ahead of the start of conference play
Andy Katz of the Big Ten Network has unveiled his latest B1G power rankings for hoops and it doesn’t look like there are too many surprises.
With conference play just getting started, he has Iowa at the top of the list followed by Michigan State at two. Both of those schools are in the top five of the latest AP Top 25 poll which was released on Monday.
After those two, Katz has Illinois at No. 3 followed by Wisconsin and Indiana to round out his top five.

When it comes to Michigan, the Wolverines debuted in the AP Top 25 on Monday at No. 25 as they’re off to a 6-0 start to the season. We’ll have to revisit these rankings next week after another week of action in the conference.
