Thursday morning, it was announced that Saturday’s game between Tulsa and No. 8 Cincinnati has been postponed due to COVID-19. It is the third game featuring a team ranked inside the top 10 that has been postponed this weekend.

No. 7 Oklahoma State vs. Baylor and LSU vs. No. 10 Florida have also been forced to be rescheduled because of concerns related to COVID-19. Cincinnati released a statement on the situation on Thursday morning.

The Bearcats entered the matchup with a 3-0 record, while the Golden Hurricanes are 1-1 on the year. Cincinnati is currently the highest-ranked Group of 5 team in the nation.

Saturday’s game will now be rescheduled for Saturday, Dec. 5. Cincinnati’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24 when it travels to No. 17 SMU (4-0). Tulsa will be back in action on Friday, Oct. 23 when it’s set to travel to Tampa to take on USF (1-3).
