Appalachian State campus erupts in pandemonium following upset of No. 6 Texas A&M

Appalachian State’s campus in Boone, North Carolina is quite the scene on Saturday evening.
The reason for the pandemonium on campus is Saturday’s big win for the Mountaineers. App. State rolled into a road contest vs. Texas A&M and dominated the No. 6 Aggies defensively.
When the final whistle blew, the Mountaineers had a 17-14 upset and a marquee win to add to their resume. It set off a raucous scene back in Noth Carolina.
Some of the environments in Boone included students jumping into a duck pond and students riding on a hood of a car through town. It sure looks like fans of the Mountaineers will be enjoying this one for a while longer.
