This is it. By this time next week, the B1G will have opened the 2020 season and will be a full member of the college football season. How will it affect the rankings? We’ll find out next Sunday.

For now, though, we’ve seen some changes in the Associated Press Poll even without the B1G back in action.

No. 2 Alabama defeated No. 3 Georgia 41-24 in the biggest game of the weekend, giving the Crimson Tide the best-looking resume in college football right now.

Florida State upset No. 5 North Carolina 31-28, throwing a wrench into the top 10 standings. And Coastal Carolina knocked off No. 21 Louisiana to remain undefeated on the season.

In other upsets, Kentucky defeated No. 18 Tennessee and South Carolina knocked off No. 15 Auburn. The result is some more big changes in the latest AP Poll.
