B1G fans won’t have to wait much longer to see their teams back in the polls this season.
This week, the conference announced that it would be reinstating a fall football season, playing eight games with a “Champions Week” at the end of the year, giving all 14 squads a ninth contest. The schedule was released on Saturday morning on FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff pregame show.
For now, though, the B1G is still omitted from the rankings.
We’re seeing some changes this week, as a handful of ranked teams fell over the weekend. No. 17 Miami handed No. 18 Louisville a 47-34 loss while Marshall upset No. 23 Appalachian State 17-7.
Seven other top 25 teams were in action — excluding Miami — and all were winners. Still, it’s going to cause a little shake-up in the latest poills.
