Associated Press reveals midseason All-America team, 10 B1G players included

The Associated Press has revealed its midseason All-America teams following the seventh week of the college football season.

Two All-America teams were selected, and 10 B1G players were included. There were five first-team selections and five second-team selections from the league.

Ohio State led the way for the B1G, having five players mentioned on the two teams. Wisconsin was next with three selections — all first-teamers. Penn State and Michigan State each had two.

Below are the 10 B1G players were earned midseason recognition for their performance through seven weeks of the season. You can view the full list here.

First-Team selections

  • RB: Jonathan Taylor, Wisconsin
  • OL: Tyler Biadasz, Wisconsin
  • DE: Chase Young, Ohio State
  • LB: Zack Baun, Wisconsin
  • CB: Jeff Okudah, Ohio State

Second-Team selections

  • RB: J.K. Dobbins, Ohio State
  • OL: Wyatt Davis, Ohio State
  • DE: Yetur Gross-Matos, Penn State
  • LB: Joe Bachie, Michigan State
  • S: Jordan Fuller, Ohio State
