On Saturday, Auburn hosted Tennessee in an SEC contest. The Tigers overcame an ugly performance to defeat the Volunteers 73-66, erasing a 17-point deficit to get the victory. But, unfortunately, that wasn’t the only moment people are talking about in regards to the game.
In a video clip taken during the game, one Auburn student can be heard yelling “Go back to Uruguay! This is America!” Those comments were directed at Tennessee’s Santiago Vescovi. The student was ejected from the arena and will reportedly face a disciplinary hearing, according to Sports Illustrated.
