If you’re a fan of Friday night football, then the B1G is going to give you plenty of what you love during the 2020 season.

On Monday, the B1G released the Week 1 schedule for the 2020 season, as well as a handful of future kickoff times throughout the season. Most of those times included Friday night kickoffs, of which there will be five during the course of the year.

Friday night contests start immediately in Week 1, as Illinois will take on Wisconsin on Oct. 23 at 8 p.m. ET. Other Friday night games this season include:

  • Oct. 30: Minnesota vs. Maryland — 7:30 p.m. ET (ESPN)
  • Nov. 13: Iowa vs. Minnesota — 7 p.m. (FS1)
  • Nov. 20: Purdue vs. Minnesota — TBD (BTN)
  • Nov. 27: Nebraska vs. Iowa — TBD (FOX/FS1)

The B1G has played numerous games on Friday nights over the last few years, but this will be one season where it’s more prominent than most. On several weekends, we’ll get two days of B1G football.
