B1G announces new kickoff time for Nebraska-Rutgers
With a cancellation of another Big Ten game on Friday, the Nebraska vs. Rutgers game is getting the primetime treatment.
The Big Ten announced on Friday that the Cornhuskers (2-5) at the Scarlet Knights (3-5) is being moved to 7:30 PM ET. This coincides with the news that the Purdue vs. Indiana game is being cancelled due to COVID-19 protocols. This is the second time that the Boilermakers and Hoosiers match-up is being called off due to COVID-19.
Both games were a part of the conference’s Champions Week schedule. The game between Nebraska and Rutgers will still air on the Big Ten Network.

Nebraska has lost three of their last four games including Saturday’s 24-17 defeat to Minnesota. Rutgers is coming off an emotional overtime win at Maryland.
The win would give Rutgers their most victories ever in the Big Ten. The previous mark for the program was set in 2014 under then head coach Kyle Flood when Rutgers went 3-5 in their first season in the conference.
