B1G announces players of the week following Week 5
The Big Ten has announced its top players following Week 5.
Indiana WR Ty Fryfogle is the offensive player of the week for the second week in a row. He caught seven passes for 218 yards and three touchdowns against Ohio State.
Northwestern’s defense swept two awards this week. Linebacker Blake Gallagher and defensive back Brandon Joseph were named defensive player of the week and freshman of the week, respectively. The Wildcats held Wisconsin to just seven points on Saturday.
