Illinois played just one game last week, but Dosunmu was fabulous in the Fighting Illini’s 62-56 upset win over Penn State on the road. The sophomore played 37 minutes, scoring 24 points, grabbing four rebounds and dishing one assist in the victory. He was the game’s leading scorer.
Dosunmu’s performance against the Nittany Lions marked the sixth time this season he’s scored 20 points or more in a game.

Jackson-Davis has become a regular at winning the Freshman of the Week award this season. He’s now claimed the honor five times this year.

In the win over Minnesota, Jacks0n-Davis was nearly untouchable, scoring 27 points on 11-of-15 shooting and grabbing 16 rebounds in the victory. Over the weekend against Penn State, the Hoosiers freshman struggled from the floor, but still managed to get 13 points and 10 rebounds in a must-win game.
