The sport of college basketball is heating up with some fantastic team and individual performances. Undefeated Purdue is now No. 1 for the first time in program history as No. 19 Michigan State, No. 21 Ohio State and No. 22 Wisconsin also joined in the AP Top 25.

Wisconsin senior guard Brad Davison is the B1G Player of the Week after his 20 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assist performance in Wisconsin’s 89-76 win over Marquette. This is the first time in his collegiate career that Davison has earned Player of the Week honors.

Michigan State guard Max Christie has earned B1G co-Freshman of the Week. Christie averaged 12.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block, and 0.5 steals per game in Michigan State’s two wins last week over Louisville and Toledo.

Wisconsin guard Chucky Hepburn has earned B1G co-Freshman of the Week for his performances in wins over Georgia Tech and Marquette. Hepburn averaged 11 points while shooting 6-of-14 in field goals, 4.5 assists, 2 steals, 1.5 rebounds, and 0.5 blocks in the last two games.
