The 2024-25 Big Ten regular season gets underway on Monday evening a total of 14 games across the conference.

The opening-night slate features mostly games against low-major or Division II opponents. There’s 1 headlining game in the Big Ten on Monday night: Ohio State vs. Texas.

The Buckeyes and Longhorns are set to meet in Las Vegas at 10 p.m. ET. This game is part of the Hall of Fame Series, which is one of the headlining events across all of college basketball on opening night. On the women’s side, South Carolina is set to take Michigan on Monday evening as well.

Washington, Indiana, Rutgers and Minnesota are the 4 Big Ten programs who will not being their respective seasons on Monday night. The Huskies will get underway on Tuesday evening while the remaining 3 programs will all make their season debuts on Wednesday.

The 2024-25 college basketball season figures to be a good one. The Boilermakers still have very high expectations going into 2024-25 even with Zach Edey now in the NBA.
