VIDEO: See what B1G coaches had to say about their 2016 recruiting class
A historic National Signing Day it was in the B1G.
For the first time in 15 years, the B1G had five teams finish National Signing Day ranked in the top 25 of the 247sports composite rankings. Ohio State topped the list at No. 4, followed by No. 5 Michigan, No. 19 Penn State, No. 21 Michigan State and No. 24 Nebraska.
Michigan landed the B1G’s first unanimous No. 1 recruit since player rankings became a thing in 1999.
The conference landed three five-star recruits and 59 four-star recruits. That was after a 2015 recruiting season in which the B1G didn’t land one five-star recruit and had 51 four-star recruits.
There was certainly plenty of talent that signed the dotted line to come to B1G country on Wednesday.
Here’s what each of their coaches had to say about each of their respective recruiting classes (all rankings according to 247sports composite as of 5:30 p.m. ET).
