It’s all-SEC national championship on Monday night. Despite the best efforts from Cincinnati and Michigan, neither could stop Alabama and Georgia from a rematch of the SEC Championship Game.

This year’s host city for the College Football Playoff National Championship Game is Indianapolis, which is often the center for several B1G events. It’s the annual home of the B1G Championship Game, regularly hosts the B1G men’s and women’s basketball tournaments and was also the site for B1G Media Days.

It’s probably fairly safe to suggest that Indianapolis is the heart of B1G country. So, seeing an SEC-themed billboard near the city might make some cringe.

SEC commissioner Greg Sankey posted an image of the billboard, which reads “Indianapoli-SEC”

Nobody in B1G country really wants to see that, do they?

In all fairness, the SEC did earn the right to flex its muscle this week. Alabama and Georgia have proven to be the two best teams in college football this season, setting up an SEC title game rematch with a national championship at stake.

The Crimson Tide and Bulldogs will battle in the biggest game of the year on Monday night with kickoff set for 8 p.m. ET.
