B1G flips location of Michigan-Michigan State game
Michigan State will now have to make consecutive trips to Ann Arbor.
The annual in-state rival game had been scheduled to be played in East Lansing for the 2020 season, but with the B1G releasing the new, 10-game, conference only schedule, the location of the game has been changed.
Instead, Michigan will host Michigan State on Saturday, Oct. 3, which will be Week 5 of the college football season. The Wolverines also hosted Michigan State in Ann Arbor last season.
Michigan defeated Michigan State 44-10 last season, marking a second-straight win in the battle for the Paul Bunyan Trophy.
The Wolverines are 3-2 against the Spartans under head coach Jim Harbaugh. Michigan has won three of the last four meetings, with MSU’s lone victory in that span coming in a 14-10 game in Ann Arbor in 2017.
