We’ve reached the home stretch. The College Football Playoff selection committee has released its first top 25 of the season, which tells you we’re not too far from the postseason.

It’s Week 11 of the 2024 college football season. Big Ten play began Friday night with Iowa’s trip to UCLA. The Bruins used a 17-point 2nd quarter to overcome an early 10-0 deficit and hold on for a 20-17 win.

With 2 B1G teams having already played, and 6 teams on bye weeks, it’s a bit lighter of a Saturday. There are just 5 conference contests this Saturday in the Big Ten.

Ohio State and Purdue help kick things off in the early window. The Buckeyes look to keep things rolling after picking up a big win over Penn State in Week 10.

Minnesota and Rutgers also play in the early window. The Gophers enter on a 4-game winning streak, while the Scarlet Knights are on a 4-game losing skid after going 0-for-October.

In the CBS spotlight, defending national champion Michigan is on the road at Indiana. This year, it’s the Hoosiers in the title hunt, ranked No. 8 by the College Football Playoff selection committee.

Oregon is the top-ranked team in the land in all the major polls. The Ducks look to stay perfect on Saturday as they host Maryland.

Wrapping up the B1G slate is Washington’s trip to No. 6 Penn State, a game being shown in IMAX theaters. The Nittany Lions are looking to bounce back and remain in the CFP hunt after falling to Ohio State.

Here’s the complete schedule:

  • Purdue at No. 2 Ohio State – 12:00 p.m. ET on FOX
  • Minnesota at Rutgers – 12:00 p.m. ET on NBC
