B1G Football Schedule, Saturday, Nov. 16: Kickoff times and TV listings
We’re in the home stretch of the 2024 season. Week 12 has arrived, and there are 6 conference clashes in the Big Ten on tap this Saturday.
The B1G slate got started on Friday with a meeting of former Pac-12 foes, UCLA and Washington. The Huskies pulled away in the 4th quarter, scoring 2 touchdowns en route to a 31-19 victory.
In what is becoming frustratingly familiar to some fans, Ohio State starts things off in the early window. The Buckeyes are on the road to face Northwestern. This game, however, is being played at the friendly confines of Wrigley Field instead of the Wildcats’ home field.
Michigan State and Illinois are up next. Something’s got to give, as both teams are on 2-game losing streaks.
Penn State and Purdue play in the CBS spotlight. The Nittany Lions bounced back from the OSU loss with a big win over Washington. The Boilermakers, meanwhile, have dropped their last 8 games.
Storied programs Nebraska and USC play their first B1G matchup on Saturday afternoon in Los Angeles. There’s plenty of intrigue to see Husker QB Dylan Raiola in Dana Holgorsen’s offense. The Trojans, meanwhile, need a win for bowl-eligibility purposes after so many close losses.
Rutgers and Maryland play in the early evening window. The Scarlet Knights can pick up a 6th win with a victory. The Terrapins have dropped 4 of their last 5 games.
Oregon at Wisconsin is the last B1G kickoff of the night in the NBC spotlight. The Ducks are the top-ranked team in all the major polls at 10-0. The Badgers have dropped their last 2 games to Penn State and Iowa.
