B1G Hoops announces standout Player, Freshman of the Week following Week 6
B1G Hoops had another strong week of action as we get ever so closer to the NCAA Tournament.
The latest AP Top 25 poll came out on Monday and there are seven Big Ten schools in it, three of which are in the top 10. Those three schools are Iowa (No. 5), Wisconsin (No. 8), and Michigan (No. 10).

As the tweet says, he averaged nearly 20 points per game against Michigan State, Wisconsin, and Ohio State during the week. His best game came against the Buckeyes when he had 27 points and 14 rebounds for a double-double in the win.
B1G Freshman of the Week – Hunter Dickinson, C, Michigan
The freshman of the week honor once again went to Michigan’s Hunter Dickinson. He also won it following Week 3 of the Big Ten’s action.

He’s been one of the best players not only in the conference but the entire country. During this past week, he averaged almost 23 points per game and seven rebounds per game as the Wolverines kept on winning.
