B1G lands 13 players on Sporting News' 2022 All-America team
The Sporting News 2022 All-America team was announced on Tuesday. The B1G was well represented on it.
The B1G led all conferences with 13 players chosen on the first and second teams. The SEC had the second-most with 12. The teams were broken up into offense and defense like how most All-America selections are formatted.

Michigan, Ohio State, Northwestern, Illinois, Iowa, Rutgers, Michigan State, and Purdue had players make the team. The only teams from the conference to not have a player chosen were Maryland, Indiana, Penn State, Nebraska, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams from USC was the first team QB. Texas’ Bijan Robinson was the first team RB, with Biletnikoff winner Jalin Hyatt as the other first team WR.
