B1G lands two top-5 picks on latest PFF Mock Draft
Now that the college football and NFL seasons have a little more than a month left, Pro Football Focus (PFF) has updated its mock draft for the 2021 NFL Draft. There are a pair of B1G names included in the recently released top-5.
Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields tops the league names, with the Buckeyes quarterback projected to be in the No. 2 spot behind Clemson signal-caller Trevor Lawrence. This is not exactly a new revelation as many have expected some combination of Fields and Lawrence to be selected with the top two picks of the draft.
Fields has 90 completions on 113 pass attempts, for 1,208 yards for a 79.8 completion percentage. He has 13 touchdowns and three interceptions.
Also making the top five, Michigan defensive lineman Kwity Paye is listed in the No. 4 spot. He is the surprise selection of this mock draft as he continues to draw attention and climb up many draft boards.
Paye started 11 of 12 games and amassed 6.5 sacks during his junior season in Ann Arbor. So far this season he has 12 solo tackles and two sacks.
