It’s always interesting to see the list of names that teams want to represent them at media days every year.

Superstars are the obvious choice, but if they have anything about their past that’s questionable, they often get left behind. Then there are the underclassmen, who rarely get to attend even if they are the best player on their respective team.

This year, B1G Media Days will be senior-dominated once again. A total of 42 players will attend, 33 of which are seniors. The lone sophomore who will be present in Chicago on July 25-26 is Illinois running back Ke’Shawn Vaughn.

There are a total of 12 linebackers attending the festivities. In fact, 11 of the 14 B1G teams will bring linebackers to Chicago. Believe it or not, only five quarterbacks will be present.
