After a  year without postseason basketball, the 2021 postseason is off to a roaring start!

With a number of conference tournaments going down this weekend, the B1G provided some impressive firepower and incredible highlights throughout. It came to a dramatic conclusion Sunday between Illinois and Ohio State.

To get there, the Buckeyes took down Minnesota, Purdue, and Michigan. Duane Washington Jr. was phenomenal all weekend long, scoring at least 16 points in every game, including 32 points in the championship game Sunday.

For Illinois, big man Kofi Cockburn and do-everything guard Ayo Dosunmu were integral to the success of the Illini. While the bench did provide a huge boost Sunday, Illinois was powered by their stars in Indy.

For their efforts, Washington, Cockburn, and Dosunmu were named to the 2021 B1G All-Tournament team. They were joined by E.J. Liddell from Ohio State and Luka Garza from Iowa:

For his work in leading Illinois to the title, Dosunmu was named the Jim and Kitty Delany Most Outstanding Player for the Tournament:

Iowa, Ohio State, and Illinois all punched tickets to March Madness, and it will be interesting to see which team and stars will be the last ones standing in the NCAA Tournament.
