B1G Network analyst ranks top 5 B1G quarterbacks ahead of Week 4
In a conference not necessarily known for its quarterback play, there have been many spectacular performances this season from B1G QBs.
Joshua Perry, an analyst for the B1G Network, does weekly power rankings, and this week his power rankings are focused on the top 5 QBs in the B1G.
Here is Perry’s list in order:
- Taulia Tagovailoa – Maryland
- Payton Thorne – Michigan State
- C.J. Stroud – Ohio State
- Sean Clifford – Penn State
- Adrian Martinez – Nebraska

All of five of these quarterbacks have impressive stats through 3 weeks of play.
- Adrian Martinez, Nebraska: 65-99, 65.7 percent, 1,017, yards passing 5 TDs, 1 INT, 51
- Sean Clifford, Penn State: 67-94, 71.3 percent, 757 yards passing, 4 TDs, 1 INT,
- C.J. Stroud, Ohio State: 63-101, 62.4 percent, 963 yards passing, 8 TDs and 3 INTs.
- Payton Thorne, Michigan State: 48-77, 62.3 percent, 726 yards passing, 9 TDs and 0 INTS
- Taulia Tagovailoa, Maryland: 80-106, 75.5 perecent, 956 yards passing, 7 TDs and 0 INTs.
All 5 B1G QBs will be in action this Saturday.
