Two of the biggest nonconference matchups featuring B1G teams during the 2021 season have landed in primetime television slots. ESPN released the news on Tuesday morning.

First, ESPN revealed it’s complete schedule for the biggest games in Week 1, a Labor Day weekend that will see several important nonconference matchups. In the weeks following, though, both Michigan and Penn State will be in the spotlight.

Washington’s trip to Michigan on Saturday, Sept. 11 will be a primetime affair on ABC, with kickoff coming at 7:30 p.m. ET. The two teams were scheduled to play in Seattle last season, but it was postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The following week (Saturday, Sept. 18), the B1G will be front-and-center again, with Auburn traveling to Penn State for another primetime game. That SEC-B1G showdown is also scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.

Right now, those are the only two B1G games scheduled for ABC primetime in 2021, though not all dates have been filled at this time. You can see the full schedule ESPN released on Tuesday here.
