B1G places 4 players on The Sporting News All-America teams
With the regular season in college hoops wrapped up, award season has heated up as teams prepare for conference tournament action.
On Tuesday, The Sports News dropped its picks for All-America. The B1G placed 4 players across all 3 teams, and a pair of top players from the league landed as First-Team All-Americans.

Indiana’s Trayce Jackson-Davis and Purdue’s Zach Edey landed on the first team, and the inclusion of both is no surprise. Both are likely to be in the mix for National Player of the Year and produced monster numbers in the regular season.
Penn State’s Jalen Pickett and Iowa’s Kris Murray were also featured as second-team and third-team selections, respectively.
