Now that you have to watch the NFL playoffs to get your football fix, you’ve probably had this thought cross your mind a couple times.

How well is the B1G being represented?

Well, there are 31 B1G players left on conference title game active rosters. Two Pro Bowlers (Tom Brady and Kawann Short) came from B1G schools, and New England had the most players from B1G teams (12). Actually, 22 of the B1G players left will play in the AFC Championship while just nine will be in the NFC Championship.

Also of note:

-Minnesota and Nebraska were the only B1G schools without a player in the final four

-Carolina has more B1G receivers than Arizona has total B1G players

-Rutgers has more players on one team (4) than 11 B1G schools have total, but none of them played in the B1G

-Three of those former Rutgers players are New England defensive backs

-If Green Bay had won instead of Arizona, Iowa, Michigan and Wisconsin would’ve been tied for second with five players left

-Neither of the B1G Pro Bowlers left were first-round picks
