B1G releases dates, tip-off times and broadcast info for upcoming conference tournament
The end of February is nearing and that means just one thing: March Madness is coming.
On Wednesday, the B1G released its schedule for the upcoming men’s basketball tournament. This year’s event will start on Wednesday. March 10 and run through Sunday, March 14, which is also Selection Sunday.
Big Ten Network will broadcast the first 10 games of the B1G Tournament, starting on Wednesday and running through the quarterfinals on Friday. CBS will then carry coverage for the semifinal (Saturday) and final (Sunday) rounds of the tournament.
Here’s a look at the schedule for the upcoming B1G Tournament (all times ET):
Wednesday, March 10
- Game 1: #12 vs. #13 — 6:30 p.m. (BTN)
- Game 2: #11 vs. #14 — 25 minutes after Game 1 (BTN)
Thursday, March 11
- Game 3: #8 vs. #9 — 11:30 a.m. (BTN)
- Game 4: #5 vs. #12/#13 — 25 minutes after Game 3 (BTN)
- Game 5: #7 vs. #10 — 6:30 p.m. (BTN)
- Game 6: #6 vs. #11/#14 –25 minutes after Game 4 (BTN)
Friday, March 12
- Game 7: #1 vs. Game 3 winner — 11:30 a.m. (BTN)
- Game 8: #4 vs. Game 4 winner — 25 minutes after Game 7 (BTN)
- Game 9: #2 vs. Game 5 winner — 6:30 p.m. (BTN)
- Game 10: #3 vs. Game 6 winner — 25 minutes after Game 8 (BTN)
Saturday, March 13
- Game 11: Game 7 winner vs. Game 8 winner — 1 p.m. (CBS)
- Game 12: Game 9 winner vs. Game 10 winner — 25 minutes after Game 11 (CBS)
Sunday, March 14
- Game 13: Game 11 winner vs. Game 12 winner — 3:30 p.m. (CBS)
