The B1G has revealed their players of the week list following Week 2 and there are some interesting choices among them.

For the offensive side of the ball, Michigan running back Blake Corum got the honor as he had his best game of the new season thus far. He finished with 21 rushes for 171 yards and 3 touchdowns, while also averaging over 8 yards a carry.

On defense, linebacker Luke Reimer was the player of the week after he had quite the performance for the Cornhuskers against Buffalo. He finished with 16 total tackles (7 solo) with 1 interception and 1 pass defended.

Special teams wise, 2 players got the nod as Iowa punter Tory Taylor and Purdue punter Adam Korsak got the honors.

Finally, for the freshman, Buckeyes quarterback CJ Stroud was named player of the week, despite the Buckeyes losing to Oregon. Stroud finished with 484 yards passing with 3 touchdowns to 1 interception.

We’ll have to see who gets the honors for Week 3 following next weekend’s slate of games and if any of these same players will be on there.
