It has been an eventful 2020 season in the NFL, and a host of B1G rookies are shining to start their careers.

On Saturday, Pro Football Focus revealed a video with their top five highest-graded rookies of the season. Though the top spot went to wide receiver Justin Jefferson out of LSU, the rest of the top five was dominated by B1G stars.

The No. 2 player on the list was Chase Young, the defensive end out of Ohio State that was drafted by the Washington Football Team. He finished the regular season with 7.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and an 87.2 PFF grade.

Next on the list was Michael Onwenu, an offensive lineman out of Michigan that was selected by the New England Patriots in the sixth round of the NFL Draft. Onwenu has a strong case for steal of the 2020 Draft after starting all 16 games as a rookie and earning an 84.3 PFF grade.

The fourth and fifth spots on the list went to running bak Jonathan Taylor out of Wisconsin and offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs out of Iowa. Taylor rushed for over 1,100 yards and 11 touchdowns with the Colts and posted an 83.9 PFF grade. Wirfs started all 16 games for the Buccaneers and was a key part of Tom Brady’s protection while posting an 82.2 PFF grade.
