B1G teams dominate Top 9 list for elite 2022 RB out of Pennsylvania
One of the nation’s top prospects for the class of 2022 is still considering a number of B1G schools.
The player is Nicholas Singleton, a four-star running back out of Reading, Pennsylvania. He released a list of his top nine schools Tuesday evening with the B1G dominating the way with five teams still in the running for Singleton.
The B1G schools listed by Singleton are Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan, Northwestern, and Wisconsin. The other four spots were occupied by Notre Dame, Alabama, Auburn, and Texas A&M.

According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Singleton is the No. 98 overall prospect nationally. He is also rated the No. 5 RB nationally and the No. 2 player out of Pennysylvania for the cycle. Five-star WDE Enai White is the only recruit rated higher out of Pennsylvania for 2022.
Nearly every school on Singleton’s list is known for churning out elite running backs, and he appears to be well-suited to make the jump to the next level. Can the Nittany Lions keep him in-state, or will he head elsewhere to begin his college career?
