ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreet has posted his Week #9 Top Performing Players of the Week, and a pair of B1G quarterbacks made the cut.

While Ohio State’s Justin Fields making the list is no surprise, jumping into the #2 spot on the list is Maryland’s Taulia Tagovailoa.

After a subpar showing in his debut, Tagovailoa put on a show during the Terps 45-44 win over Minnesota on Saturday night, throwing for just under 400 yards, completing 26 of 35 attempts and three touchdowns. He also ran for 64 yards and two touchdowns, letting his dual-threat ability known.

For Fields, the week was another highlight reel leading No. 3 Ohio State to a road win at No. 18 Penn State, 38-25. Field totaled 318 passing yards and four touchdowns.

Michigan State receiver Ricky White also made the cut after catching eight passes for 196 yards in a win over Michigan.
