Recruiting is a non-stop aspect of college football. It’s considered to be the lifeblood at the sport.

Some coaches are better at it than others. A lot better.

It’s only May, but since recruiting never sleeps, it’s always interesting to take a look at which coaches are having the most success on the recruiting trail. There has already been a lot of impressive work done in the B1G on the recruiting front, so why not take a look at the best recruiters with the 2022 class from the conference?

We did account for one change in the Top 10, which comes via 247Sports. With former Michigan co-defensive coordinator Maurice Linguist taking the head coaching job at Buffalo, we’ve omitted him from the list. Linguist was ranked No. 6.

With that out of the way, here’s a look at the Top 10 recruiters from the B1G so far:

#1 Al Washington, linebackers coach, Ohio State — 3 commits

#2 Terry Smith, cornerbacks coach, Penn State — 4 commits

#3 Fran Brown, secondary coach, Rutgers — 4 commits

#4 Brian Hartline, wide receivers coach, Ohio State — 2 commits

#5 Sherrone Moore, co-offensive coordinator, Michigan — 6 commits

#6 Kevin Wilson, tight ends coach, offensive coordinator, Ohio State — 3 commits

#7 Tony Alford, running backs coach, Ohio State — 2 commits

#8 Kerry Coombs, defensive coordinator, Ohio State — 3 commits

#9 Phil Trautwein, offensive line coach, Penn State — 2 commits

#10 Chris Kapilovic, offensive line coach, Michigan State — 3 commits
