Baker Mayfield storms out of presser after heated exchange with reporter
Things haven’t gone too well for Baker Mayfield recently, on the field or in the media room. His latest frustrations came out while meeting with reporters on Wednesday.
Cleveland is off to a 2-5 start this season and is coming off a 27-13 loss to the New England Patriots, to extend the Browns’ losing streak to three games. Through seven games, Mayfield has twice as many interceptions (12) as touchdown passes (6).
On Wednesday, while meeting with reporters, Mayfield got into a heated exchange with one media member. The Cleveland quarterback was so frustrated by the questions, he stormed out of his media availability.

After Mayfield left his media availability, he fired off a few tweets.
Everybody wants to hear the truth until they actually get it…. I am who I am and always have been. Don’t call it emotional when it’s convenient and then passion when it fits. I care about winning, so yeah I’m frustrated. If I was to act like it’s okay to lose, then y’all would

say that I’ve gotten complacent. My sense of urgency is at an all time high. And if I offend anybody along the way… that’s too bad

Mayfield’s exit from the media room will probably be the topic of conversation around Cleveland this week. But the Browns are back on the field on Sunday to take on the Denver Broncos.
Mayfield and Cleveland could use a win on Sunday to erase this attention.
