The Big Noon Kickoff crew released their updated picks for the 4-team College Football Playoff field Tuesday afternoon.

Most of the 6 were at least in agreement to which teams they have making the playoff: Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan and Florida State. Rob Stone and Urban Meyer are rolling with Washington.

Which teams are most likely to crack the CFP?

ESPN’s FPI is hardly a perfect metric, but it gives the best odds at the College Football Playoff to Michigan, Florida State, Ohio State and Georgia, in that order. Alabama, Oregon, Texas and Washington are the rest of the 4.

Any one of those 8 teams has a real shot at cracking the dance. Outside of that there are certainly chances, but we’d need to see some serious chaos.

History tells us the finish to this season will not be pure chalk, which would play out like this: Georgia winning the SEC, Michigan winning the B1G, Texas winning the Big 12, Oregon winning the Pac-12 and Florida State winning the ACC. In that scenario, it’s tough to imagine who gets left out of the field.

In all likelihood, chaos is coming. The winner of The Game has excellent chances to crack the field, but can 2 B1G teams make it in again?

We’ll see.
