Big Noon Kickoff made history on Saturday ahead of The Game between Ohio State and Michigan.

According to the New York Post’s Andrew Marchand, Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff beat ESPN’s College GameDay in ratings on Saturday for the first time ever. Fox had 2.338 million viewers, while ESPN had 2.325 viewers. Both shows were in Ann Arbor, airing for 3 hours ahead of The Game. Michigan and Ohio State played on Fox.

The news is a win for Big Noon Kickoff, which is arguably one of the biggest game day shows behind College GameDay. Perhaps fans were looking to get insight from Big Ten insiders ahead of one of the most consequential games of the season.

The Game was one of the most exciting of the season. Michigan ended up winning, punching a ticket to the Big Ten Championship and likely a spot in the College Football Playoff if it can take care of business against Iowa. Ohio State’s Playoff chances are likely shot after the loss.
