Big Noon Kickoff is headed to Happy Valley in Week 10 for the leadup to the annual showdown between Big Ten behemoths Ohio State and Penn State.
Both programs are annually in the race for the conference crown (and national title) and this year is no different, with both teams ranked in the top 5 going into Week 9. Penn State is ranked 3rd in the AP Poll, with Ohio State right behind the Nittany Lions at No. 4, so next Saturday’s noon ET kickoff on FOX promises to have serious College Football Playoff implications as the Penn State-Ohio State matchup usually does.

What’s not promised on a weekly basis are actual victories, which 5-1 Ohio State found out the hard way a few weeks ago when it fell by 1 point in an agonizing loss at No. 1 Oregon. The Buckeyes had a bye after that heartbreaker and looked rusty on Saturday, struggling to fight off pesky Nebraska in the 4th quarter with just a 21-17 lead in Columbus.
Meanwhile, Penn State was a perfect 6-0 going into its primetime showdown at Wisconsin on Saturday night. The Nittany Lions will look to stay unbeaten in Madison in the 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff on NBC before the FOX spotlight arrives in Happy Valley next week.
